(Chairman) |
June, 2008 Triangle Sertoma Club Awards
Banquet: (2007/2008 Fiscal Year)

Above: Phil Boring (past Sertoman of the year) presents Alan Roberts
with the 2007/2008 "Sertoman of the Year" award.
Congratulations to Alan who worked so hard as
president of this club and who also spent many hours on the rental
committee, our most profitable program. Thank you Alan for your
leadership in bringing this club to the success level it has
achieved this past year.

Above left to right: Bob Pasipanki, Richard Valentine, Phil
Stancil, Alan Roberts (President), Susen Darst, & Jim Carrington
Congratulations to Pas, who handles correspondence
with our sponsors, gets the golf packets together and if not serving
as Projects Chair, has always been the Project Chairman's right hand
man. Thank you Pas for all you do.
To Richard Valentine who has served as our
Treasurer for the last 20+ years and is always there when we need
him. Usually the first one to arrive at our Golf and BBQ functions
and the last to leave. He is always a leader in BBQ ticket sales and
teams in the golf tournament. He is truly a dedicated work horse for
the Triangle Sertoma Club. Thank you REV for all you do.
To Phil Stancil whom we can not say enough about.
If there is something that needs doing, just let Phil find out about
it and miraculously it gets done. Without being ask, Phil procured
and installed a $6,000 projection system with a drop down projector
and screen, and later connected it to the internet. We needed front
steps. Phil jumped in and got it started and with the help of Glenn
Parker, wala! the steps are in. Repair and replace lighting
fixtures, repair the alarm system, finish the audio system, and the list goes on. Phil sees a
need for something and just gets it done. Phil will be taking
over the leadership roll as President this coming year and I know he
will do an excellent job. Thank you Phil for all you do.
To Susen Darst who was so valuable in serving with
the rental committee. I would say she's a work horse too, but I
don't think she would like being called a horse!!!!! Thank you Susen
for all you do.
And to Jim Carrington who chaired our Projects
Committee, the toughest job in the Club. Jim has always been one of
our most dedicated members. Thank you Jim for all you do.
